The Power Driven Stainless HX40 Exhaust Elbow was developed to replace the factory HX35 exhaust outlet elbow and adapt HX40 outlet turbos to your factory or aftermarket 2nd gen Dodge exhaust system.  Most of the larger S300-sized turbos, along with the Aggressor 60-9 turbos, are produced with the higher flowing 4” HX40 v-band outlet and normally require a new matching HX40 style downpipe. The Power Driven Stainless HX40 elbow was produced with a tapered inside diameter to carefully adapt HX40 turbo outlet turbos and mate them to the factory 3” OD downpipe bell, allowing you to retain your stock or aftermarket exhaust system.  This adapter elbow maintains a minimum cross-section of 2.8” and supports 20% more flow than the factory exhaust elbow.  The result is a corrosion-resistant stainless exhaust elbow that improves exhaust flow and looks great!Direct fit for 1994 through 2002 12v and 24v Cummins with HX40 outlet turbos.  The Power Driven Stainless HX40 Exhaust Elbow features a standard 3” OD bell outlet with M10x1.5 threaded ears that will accept all factory downpipes (12v and 24v) and most aftermarket 4” downpipes (example MBRP) that utilize the factory 3” flare/bell outlet.
